Our group is focused on the synthesis and characterization of thin films and heterostructured materials. Films and heterostructures are used in a wide range of applications from electronics to energy devices to biomedical coatings. To advance such technologies, we aim to better understand and control fundamental electronic, magnetic, and optical properties of oxides, topological semimetals, and MXenes in thin film form and when interfaced with dissimilar materials.
